Account Issues

Can’t get in, or something about your account looks off? Start here.

Whether it’s a magic link or a confirmation email, the fix is usually the same:

  1. Check your spam or promotions folder. Our emails sometimes land there.
  2. Confirm the address. A typo in your email means the link went somewhere else. Try again with the correct address.
  3. Give it a minute, then resend. Delivery can lag. Request a new link from the sign-in screen — each new one replaces the last.

Forgot your password? On the sign-in screen, choose Forgot password, enter your email, and we’ll send a reset link. Open it and set a new password. If it doesn’t arrive, follow the steps above.

New accounts confirm their email before some features unlock. If you’re stuck, open the confirmation email and click the link. Lost it? Trigger a new one from the sign-in screen, or sign in and follow the prompt to resend.

If Continue with Google doesn’t work:

  • Make sure you’re signed in to the right Google account in your browser.
  • Allow the pop-up if your browser blocked it.
  • If you first signed up with email and password, sign in that way instead — the account is the same as long as the email matches.

You can update your email in Settings → Account. You’ll need your current password. Becoming then emails a confirmation link to the new address, and the change only takes effect once you click it — your old address stays active until then. This isn’t available if you signed in with Google. Keep your email accurate — magic links and the daily email go there.

Becoming shows in your chosen language. To switch, open Settings → Account and update your language. The app and your emails follow that setting.
