After Your Theme Ends

Every Theme runs for four weeks (28 days). As it nears the end, Becoming gives you a gentle moment to pause, look back, and choose what’s next. Nothing happens automatically behind your back, and nothing you’ve done is lost.

At the start of the final week, your Theme reaches a checkpoint — a gentle digest of the four weeks. It gathers up where you’ve been: the idea at the heart of the Theme and how many practices you completed.

The checkpoint isn’t a report card. It’s a quiet summary, meant to help you feel the shape of the month before you decide what comes next.

From the checkpoint you can:

ChoiceWhat it does
Extend 4 weeksKeep going with the same Theme for another four weeks.
FinishClose the Theme — choose Finish & start new or Just finish.

There’s no wrong choice, and no rush. If you’re not ready to decide, the checkpoint waits for you.

Choose Extend 4 weeks when the focus still feels alive and you want more time with it. Your Theme continues for another four weeks, and practices keep coming, building on where you already are. Extending uses 6 AI credits for the new practices.

Finish the Theme when you’re ready to close this chapter. Finishing a Theme doesn’t erase anything — your highlights, notes, reflections, and history all stay exactly where they are. You can look back on a finished Theme any time.

When you finish, choose Finish & start new to grow a new Theme from fresh highlights right away, or Just finish to take a break and start one later whenever you’re ready.

Whichever you choose, your library and everything you’ve written stay intact. A Theme ending is just a natural pause — a place to notice how far you’ve come and decide, gently, where to point your attention next.
