Readwise
If you already collect highlights in Readwise, you can bring them all into Becoming with a single connection.
Find your Readwise API token
Section titled “Find your Readwise API token”- Sign in to Readwise.
- Open your access token page at readwise.io/access_token (also linked from your Readwise account settings).
- Copy the token shown there.
Connect Readwise
Section titled “Connect Readwise”- In the web app, go to your library and choose Add source.
- Pick Readwise.
- Paste your API token and confirm.
What gets imported
Section titled “What gets imported”Becoming imports everything Readwise has collected for you:
- Books
- Articles
- Podcasts
Each keeps its highlights and notes.
While it runs
Section titled “While it runs”The import runs in the background, so you can keep using the app while it works through your Readwise library. Highlights are deduplicated, so syncing again only adds what’s new.
Staying in sync
Section titled “Staying in sync”Once connected, Becoming checks Readwise once a day and brings in only what’s new since the last sync. Daily syncing runs while you have an active subscription or trial.
Want something sooner? Open Integrations → Readwise and click Sync again.
If Readwise stops accepting the token you connected with, daily syncing stops. Connect Readwise again with your current token to resume it.
