Daily Review

Daily Review brings a small handful of your saved highlights back to you each day, so the ideas you cared about don’t fade. It’s part of The Library, and you’ll find it at app.usebecoming.com/review.

How a review works

Each review is a short stack of resurfaced highlights. Swipe through them one at a time. For each one you can:

Discard — set it aside for now.
Share — send it as an image card or as text. See Sharing a Highlight.
Favorite — mark it as one that matters to you.
Make Theme — start a 4-week Theme from it (Academy).

It only takes a moment, and you’re done for the day.

Listen to your review

In the Becoming app for iPhone and Android, a review can be read aloud to you. Tap the headphones at the top right of the review, or Listen · N min on the Daily Review card on Home. A host voice greets you, introduces each highlight with its title and author, and adds a few words after each quote; the quotes themselves are read in the same voice that reads your articles. The cards turn as the audio moves on, and when the host signs off, your review is complete for the day.

Review audio counts against the same monthly listening time as Listen to an article, and listening to a review again is free. On the web, reviews aren’t read aloud yet.

What gets resurfaced

Becoming chooses which highlights to bring back so you see a good mix:

Less-seen highlights resurface more often, so nothing stays buried.
Favorites are boosted, so the ones you love come around more.

Your review streak

Completing a review keeps a review streak going — a gentle nudge to keep the habit, not a score to chase.

Settings

Tune Daily Review in Settings → Notifications:

Daily Review reminders — the switch at the top of the card. Turn it off and the reminder stops; your review is still waiting in Becoming whenever you open it.
Which days you get a review.
The time it arrives.
How many highlights each review includes.
Whether to include popular highlights from the books you’ve read.

While the reminder is off, its days and time are greyed out. The number of highlights and the popular-highlights switch still shape the review itself, so they stay editable.

Daily Review is also delivered as the daily email — the same resurfaced highlights, plus today’s Practices on The Academy. Links open the app with one click.

Empty library?

With nothing in your library yet, there’s nothing to review. Home offers to fill a starter shelf from a few topics you pick, and your first review follows straight after.
